Find an answer

Holds, deposits, catering, and what happens if the date moves. If it is not here, write us with the guest count and city.

Other

Are children welcome at events?

Yes, when the brief includes them. We can set a quiet room and a simpler menu. Tell us the count so seating and fire capacity stay legal.

Can I book a hall for a small private dinner?

Yes. Several rooms seat 12 to 40. The listed package scales down; we will not push you into a ballroom you do not need.

What if weather affects an outdoor reception?

Every terrace or courtyard brief includes a covered backup. If we move inside, the floor lead runs the change-over. Outdoor-only dates are only confirmed when you accept the weather risk in writing.

What is the guest capacity of a hall?

Each event page lists seated and standing numbers. We will not exceed the fire certificate. If the list grows, we move you to a larger room before you print place cards.

Will another event share the hall?

No. Your hold is exclusive for the listed hours. A second event may use a different room in the same building; we keep docks and foyers separate.

Payment

Are there extra fees on top of the listed price?

The listed rate covers hall hire and the package on the event page. Catering extras, late-night hours, and outside AV are itemised before you confirm. We do not add surprise dock fees.

Do I need to pay a deposit to hold a date?

Yes. A deposit locks the hall for the listed hours. It is credited to the final invoice. We send the amount and the expiry date before you confirm.

What is your refund policy if I cancel?

Cancel 30 days or more before the date and the deposit is refundable minus a hold fee. Inside 30 days the hall is rarely rebooked, so the deposit is kept. We write the window on every contract.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Card, bank transfer, and invoice for registered planners. The deposit is due when you hold the date; the balance is due seven days before load-in unless the contract says otherwise.

Reservation

Can we bring our own caterer?

Most halls have a house kitchen. Preferred caterers are welcome when the kitchen signs off access and insurance. Tastings are booked on a weekday before the event.

When should we hold a date?

Galas and December dates fill first. Hold as soon as the board or couple picks a weekend. We can hold two halls for a short window while you walk both.
